I enjoyed meeting children and their parents at Tam Valley School in Mill Valley where I presented my picture books. What a terrific book fair Book Passage set up for the families and school!

I'm very excited and honored to be sharing MAYA LIN: ARTIST-ARCHITECT OF LIGHT AND LINES at numerous venues in Washington D.C. leading up to Veterans Day and the 35th Anniversary of the Vietnam Veterans Memorial:
November 7th: Library of Congress video cast for schools. Maya Lin's original model and submission for the contest for the Vietnam Veterans Memorial will be displayed!
November 8th: 10 am to noon; in-store event at Politics and Prose with school groups invited to the bookstore. I'm excited to be visiting this wonderful bookstore!
November 8th: 7 pm: Public event at Takoma Park Library (books sold by Politics and Prose)
November 9 - Visits to two Title 1 schools through Open Book Foundation
November 10 - School visits and evening in-store appearance at Hooray for Books in Alexandria
